I work in the HVAC field and recycle the old equipment. Reuse parts that are still good, etc. I take alot of items to the salvage yard but really hate to throw out the electrical motors as steel scape. Especially with the price of copper.

Anyone knowing of an easy way to get the copper from these electrical motors I’d really appreciate hearing from you.

I would like to make a memo board and the craft calls for homasote (a wallboard made from recycled paper that is cmpressed under high temperature and held together with glue) Just wondering if anyone knew what area I would find this stuff in at Home Depot, or if they would even carry it?

What are some things you recycle in your home to make new things? (ie: Old cd’s as drink coasters.)?

I mean “re-purpose” more so than recycle.

I have loads of scrap, extra, and used paper stored in my room and I want to make useable new paper at home to recycle it.

Any instructions/ideas for making this paper?
I mean an easy method that can be done at home without any acids and chemicals and difficult processes like that.

It doesn’t have to turn out like “real” perfect paper, just something simple.
